The DIGNITY project is already getting noticed!
TTS Italia’s March 2020 newsletter presented the DIGNITY project and how it will help break down the barriers to accessibility in digital transport. It highlighted the plans of the Ancona pilot to add features to the city’s mobile app to help the visually impaired better navigate public transport. It also discussed other initiatives within the pilot, such as providing feasibility assessments and recommendations that will make transport in the region more inclusive for vulnerable-to-exclusion groups, and particularly for low-income and migrant users.
